6 months!!!

The boys are 6 months!!!! I was due for an update. I know I'm running late on everything. Speaking of running, I'm REALLY trying to get back to a running routine...I just got back from a run and I truly miss it.

And just like this post started, it's my mind works these days. I jump from topic to topic. It drives my husband insane, but for some reason my girlfriends seem to follow. Men are from Mars Women are from Venus kind of thing.

So back to what we came here to do. 6 Months. That's half a year. That's 6 months of being a mom...and enjoying every minute of it (with the occasional "OMG who are these evil babies!!!???"). They are just so much fun these days.

Alex is my thinker and quieter one (I say quieter because neither one of them fits into the "quiet" description!). He 'talks' a lot. The funny thing is that he does this while sticking his tongue out...a la lizard!. He studies everything so intensely and can chat up like it's nobody's business. He's a wise old man in a cute baby's body.

Lucas is just out to feel and move, move, move!. I have no idea how he keeps gaining weight because this boy can move!. He's so strong. He has to touch anything that gets on his way. He recently started rolling over to his tummy and I think it's a matter of time before he's on the move. He's a free spirited happy go lucky baby!....and equally cute ;)

The grandparents came to visit and stayed with them for a weekend while we went NYC for our friend's wedding!. They did so well!...and surprisingly, so did I!.

I also found the best way to feed them: Naked (sans diaper). And they found the best way to relax on a hot day: Pool.

We're Saints and Green!!!

It's been a busy last couple of weeks...The boys got baptized the weekend before last and it was great!!!. We had such a good time with family and friends. I also managed to get everyone ready ON TIME and enjoy the party :)

The hubs made a particularly awesome Sangria...and I decided that cleaning-up after the party would be more fun if accompanied by dancing with my dad and taking down a few extra glasses of Sangria!

We've also started solids!!! the boys LOVE their greens!. As a matter of fact, they like green stuff more than they like fruit!. They really can't enough. Lucas is the funniest, he gets impatient when I'm feeding Alex and tried to grab the spoon form me.

I'm making my own baby food and loving it. I love knowing I'm giving them the best organic quality food...and I love knowing there is no "added" anything in what they are getting. I'm getting most of our produce from an organic buying club....so the boys are getting the freshest stuff around!.

And will you believe the boys are now 6 months?. Yep, my "little ones" are not so little anymore!. Happy half birthday my little cubs!....you guys are growing so fast!

...and lastly, will you believe I left them for a weekend!?. Yep, the hubs and I went to a friend's wedding this past weekend and the g'parents stayed with the boys!. I had a great time, missed my little fellas but I knew they were in great hands!. I'm told the boys were great...I know they slept through the night, but I have a feeling the g'parents were watching that monitor like hawks and didn't sleep so great!. Hopefully they get to catch some ZZZs this week :)
