What a pain in my..foot :/

After my long run on Friday, I took Saturday off and just iced my foot. Today I went and exchanged my shoes (I was on day 29 of my 30-day return window!). I got the same shoe, which did provide great stability, but the "wide" version and a 1/2 size bigger. They felt much better on my foot so I thought I would go out and try them out. I wanted to run 3.75 miles......

At mile 3 I couldn't take the pain on my foot anymore and decided to stop....I wasn't even enjoying the run anyway :(

I'm so upset. This week I'm off to Phoenix on a business trip and decided I'm going to take the week off and give my foot a break (at least until Friday). I'm not happy about it because I was making some real progress!!...but, after reading about Morton's Neuroma I think it's better to stop until I can see a Doctor when I get back.

I did get some very cute running outfits over the weekend!. Can't wait to be able to wear them and get back on my training schedule :)

Cuanto siento que hayas tenido que parar tu entrenamiento, pero parece que es lo mejor para cuidar tu pie, y en cuanto puedas visita a un medico que tenga experiencia en medicina deportiva sino es de ese estilo, te dira que pares de correr, que es lo mas facil para el, uno que tenga experiencia deportiva y en trote preferiblemente te entendera mejor, se me ocurre pensar si habra algun foro de la revista Runners World donde puedas entrar y plantear tu situacion, o en otro site de trotadores, pues me imagino que debe ser frecuente esa enfermedad. Mucha paciencia, que tambien es algo que hay que aprender a desarrollar y si puedes camina para que no estes totalmente inerte. Un besote . erpapin
