I actually woke up and did it. Will write more later, but came in 2nd in my age group at 29'46''! (7'59 mins/mile)

Addition: Yeah...so let me come clean. There were only 8 women in my age group, but who's counting right?...2nd place is 2nd place!...so I'll take it and celebrate like it's 1999!!!. I am also making a mental note to always make time to go to small races!

Thank you!! It was actually a lot of fun. It was a small race (hence I had a chance to win womething! haha)...but it was fun!.
Once you're all healed we can hit all the small/unknown races and start collecting some awards ;)
That's still amazing! No way I could place 2nd in an age group of 8 women.

I once got a first place trophy at a 5K. I was the only woman in the 30-34 category =)

LLegando temprano para escribirte y felicitarte por tu segundo lugar, no te restes meritos por el numero de participantes, a esas sumales todas las que se quedaron en casa que ni siquiera llegaron a la partida, ademas es un record personal que es lo mas importante en el fondo una indicacion de que estas superandote dia a dia mas. Que orgullo!!! erpapin
