I absolutely love all things hand made...there is just something extra special when you know someone took the time to use their hands for something beautiful.
That's one of the reasons why I am so excited about my friend's new store, Cantayaya!
Anabella (owner and creator) makes the cutest most huggable bears in the world!. It all started as a hobbie and she now has turned it into a special store.
Funny little story. Anabella tried to teach Alicia (another friend) and I to make these bears. It was a fun weekend (with sewing and lots of wine)...a weekend we like to call "catholic girls gone wild". We were rocking that sewing machine and having a blast. Now, that was the first time I ever put my hands on a sewing machine so my bear didn't turn out as huggable (or cute)...so I know first hand this is hard work and you have to love it!
Needless to say...I'll leave the bear making to Anabella, "La Doctora peluchera". So go on and visit her site and take a peek at the bears (and the rabbit) and the awesome choices of fabric she has!. It's the perfect gift for a baby shower, birthday or simply for Spring!

Me encanta esto de los ositos. Me acuerdo cuando el año pasado se reunieron e hicieron la osita novia que tenias en tu cama de soltera. Que chevere esta actividad y que bonito trabaja Annabella. Felicitaciones para ella tambien!!!!!!!
