Off we go!

Today we're leaving on our trip to the North East to celebrate July 4th...a trip that has become somewhat of a tradition with Alejandro's best friends (with, of course, their wives and girlfriends!)

It's such a fun vacation and one we look forward to every year. This year it's going to be extra special since two of us are pregnant and another couple is bringing along their baby twin girls :)

Next year there will be too many babies so the "tradition" will change...we may not all be able to go and if we do, we may have more baby bottles than beer bottles (but always enough wine!).

It's really crazy how time is flying. Tomorrow I will be 22 weeks!. The nursery is painted, both cribs are in place and the mattresses are on their way. I will post pictures of the trip and the nursery when we get back.

I'm also extra excited because my sister, who's organizing my shower, showed me a preview of the shower invites she created and hand made -- They are the most adorable invites I have ever seen, I can't wait for my friends to get them!!!...will post a picture soon too ;)

So Happy July 4th everyone!!! Special thoughts go to my dad who's doing an intense meditation course for the next two weeks. This is the second time he does it and let me tell you, it requires someone like him to go through 12 days of that kind of challegue!
