The shower was AMAZING!. My sister outdid herself!!!. It all started with the cutest baby shower invites (all DIY). She kept it all a surprise until the day before she sent them...when she sent me a picture!.
After I got this invite I knew she was putting on A LOT of work. She seemed to be loving it though....or at least that's what she told me!. Every night she had some sort of "secret" craft project :)
The day came and I kept telling myself to hold it together, to not cry...but who am I kidding right? pregnant and hormonal...crying was a given!
I walked in and was amazed at the beautiful set-up...it was too much to take in, so the tears started rolling!
The food was AMAZING and there were little owls everywhere. Little tiny boxes with owls, little tags with owls...cool little guys everywhere!
And on the other wall, the cutest onesies hanging!
But the best surprise and gift came when my sister said I had to open ONE gift before anything else...out came a walking box and well,
my MOM WAS INSIDE!!!! :)
If you know my mom and my sister Tati, you know they can't keep a secret to save their lives...so the fact that they kept this a surprise is CRAZY!. My mom arrived a week before the shower and they still managed to keep it a secret!
It was the best shower EVER, if I may say so myself. Surrounded by good friends and people I love. I missed the ones who couldn't make it (Bebela, Isa, abuelitas, tias)...but they ere there in spirit!.
