That's the question I ask myself about 7 times during the night lately. Ever since the boys went in for their shots over a week ago, the screaming at all hours of the day has been pretty constant.
My ears are ringing...and I swear I hear them screaming even when they are not screaming. I go in to see who's the one testing my sanity upset...only to find two sleeping babies!
Poor guys...something must really be bothering them. I think I got lucky enough that they started teething right around the same time....so it's been one L O N G week!
I think they started to turn the corner though...maybe because they got the news that tomorrow they turn 5 months and they have their girlfriends (my friend's twin girls) coming over for a play date.
In other news, I have been evicted from my husband's office. Apparently, I'm very messy (don't believe him). So today I'm moving all my stuff back to my "condo" upstairs. I haven't used that room since I was pregnant, when I decided to start working in my husband's office so I wouldn't have to be going up and down the stairs.
To say my condo is a mess is an understatement. Anything that doesn't have a place in this house has somehow ended up there!.
Actually, I take it back. I have used my condo...daily, as a matter of fact!. Every night, that's were I feed the babies when they wake up in the middle of the night (God forbid they decided to stop asking for midnight visits with mommy!). The couch has spit up stains every where, it's lovely.
So my mission for today is to move back! (and leave the hubs with zero entertainment in his office, which by the way will be very sad looking without my "mess"). It's probably good timing since I start working again in less than two weeks!
And to get into work mode, I thought I would start off with a memo to the boys...
Dear Alex and Lucas,
While I love seeing you, I would rather have out time together be between the hours of 7am and 8pm. I know that sometimes you feel like you just have to practice talking at 4am...or how you get confused and think 5am is 7am. I also understand that 1am and 3am are perfectly good hours for a snack...and how you like to have your snack alone with mommy....so you stagger when you wake up. I know, I know.
The thing is fellas, mommy has to start working again...so sleeping more than three or four hours in a row would really help!.
I promise, I will be eager and happy to see you in the mornings (by morning I mean 7am, not 5am). What do you say?
Love,
Mom

Oh I love it! Think it'll work?!
Oh and can you tell them to send super sweet baby thoughts to my little man who thinks he has to have a super groggy midnight snack somewhere between 3-5am. Thanks! :)
Yep! I would love to get down to 125 pounds as well! My pre-pregnancy weight was 128lbs but I'd love to be 125. I just don't think I could loose 12 pounds in 5 weeks. I think that's asking a bit much of myself. My goal is a pound per week.
Oh...I say that to my 3.5 month old every night as I put her down..."so, I'll see you at 6am,right?" If she makes it past 5, i give her a "GOOD GIRL"...and do my internal debate of whether or not to let her cry it out or just feed her if it is before. We have been going through a growth spurt so it is all feeding all the time!?!
